Edna Goff Scott, 86, of 1078 Percival Woods Rd., Columbia, SC was born March 18, 1934 in South Carolina and passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Agape Hospice Care Center in Lexington, SC. She was the daughter of the late Harvey R. Goff and Ollie T. Goff.
Ms. Scott is survived by three sons, Mr. Milton Rockwell Scott of Columbia, SC, Mr. Alan Gilbert Scott (Carol) of New Paris, PA, and the youngest, Mr. Randy G. Scott of Columbia, SC; granddaughter, Lesley Scott of Conway, SC, daughter of son, Stanley; and sister, Mrs. Narvis Virginia Everett, wife of the former Marshall Everett of Silverhill, AL.
She was preceded in death by a fourth son, Stanley E. Scott that lived in Bowling Green.
Mrs. Scott was retired from the South Carolina State Hospital on Bull Street, where she was employed as a nurse. She died of complications from pancreatic cancer.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful people that were involved in her care.
Edna, our mother, was of the Christian Faith and loved her Lord. She was a member of Midway Methodist Independent Church, Old Percival Road, Columbia, SC.
Due to COVID-19, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date so all family members can be present.
