Emily M. Halstead, age 61, of Gaston, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1964 in Culpeper County, Virginia to the late Maggie May Patton and Everett Pershing Rose.
Emily worked as a substitute teacher at Lexington County School District 4. She enjoyed gardening and she loved her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Edwards (Jimmy) of Gaston; son, Michael Hager of Gaston; daughter, Victoria Jeffcoat (Kevin) of Greenville; eight grandchildren and nine siblings.
In addition to her parents, Emily was predeceased by her husband, Tommy Halstead; her sister, Rita; and her brother, June.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
