

Mr. Kepner died Saturday, February 19, 2022. Born in Parsons, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Ralph Eugene Kepner, and Novella Henson Kepner. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and Vietnam War. In 1948, he was the winner of the WVA Golden Horseshoe and was an honorary member of the oldest shooting club in the world, The Schutzengesellschaft 1447 Aschaffenburg. Eugene was a lifetime member of VFW, DAV, American Legion, and Fort Jackson Golf Club. He was also a lifetime member of NRA, Dentsville, Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites and a charter member of Jamil Shrine Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth White Kepner; daughter, Marsha Cobb (David); sons, Terry Kepner, and David Kepner; granddaughter, Melissa Goodson, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Susan Kepner, brother, Ed Kepner and sister, Mary Carol White.
