Mr. Franklin D. Drawdy

A Celebration of Life service for Franklin D. Drawdy, 73, of Eastover, SC will be held at 2p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 174 Waccamaw Medical Park Court, Conway, SC 29526 in Franklin’s memory. On-line condolences may be sent to www.mem.com. Mr. Drawdy passed away on Tuesday morning, March 2, 2010. He was born on June 27, 1936 to the late William and Ezzie Wilson Drawdy. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Hopkins, SC. Mr. Drawdy was predeceased by a son Michael; a brother, Curtis; and sisters, Carolyn, Catherine, and Willie Mae.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 41years, Edna Lee Hutto Drawdy; sons, Shawn Drawdy of Eastover, SC & Don and Kristine Drawdy of Myrtle Beach, SC; a step-son, Johnny and Cheryl Ringo of Cayce, SC; a daughter, Angela and Eddie Callahan of Myrtle Beach, SC; his brother, Luther and Muriel Drawdy of Elgin, SC; 9 grandchildren, Mandy, Justin, Brandon, Nicholas, Kylie, Amber, Daniel, Whitney and Wesley.
