Gail French Olsen

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter of Richard H. and Virginia Ann Slagle French of Columbia. Mrs. Olsen was a graduate of Spring Valley High School; played the clarinet as a member of the award winning band. She attended the University of South Carolina and worked as a self-employed process server. She enjoying gardening and she was a Girl and Boy Scout leader. She also played in many concerts with the Camden Community Band including a concert they played in London, England.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her loving husband, Roger E. Olsen; daughter; Jesseca A. Olsen of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law; Maria Wyville of Red Bank, SC; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Cody Olsen.
