

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. and a celebration of life reception will be held following the service.
Jackie was born August 20, 1959 in Jonesboro, GA the daughter of Jack and Betty Sue Hanson Maskew. She was a former Executive Assistant with FN America Gun Manufacturing and Co-Owner of “Up on Cedar Knoll Farm”.
Jackie was a true lover of Cocker Spaniels and was a member of the American Spaniel club. Also, she was an active Board member of Carolina’s and Georgia’s Cocker Spaniel Clubs. She loved her garden and flowers that she cultivated at “Up on Cedar Knoll Farm”. Jackie was a passionate lifelong learner, who enjoyed learning about anything and everything, including genealogy research. She will be remembered for her sweet and loving disposition and cheerful personality.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John Cavallin. Those left to cherish her memory include her partner of 13 years, Steve Acuff; four children, Josh Cavallin (Jordan) of Marietta, GA, Bryn Johnson (Scott) of Conway, SC, Marin Williams of North Charleston, SC, Jacob Acuff of Lexington, SC; and her four grandchildren who lovingly called her “Memae”, Lolly, McKinley, Noelle and Mason.
