COLUMBIA – A funeral service for Jacqueline York Cherry, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the chapel. A private burial will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mrs. Cherry passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016. Born November 8, 1935, in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late EJ and Luree York. She was a member of St. Andrews Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Cherry is survived by her husband, Darwin; two daughters, Page (Blair) Rice and Quinne (Kevin) Evans; and two grandsons, Tanner and Brady Evans.
