

A Funeral Mass for James Bond Perleth, 70, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with military honors and interment to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Perleth passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Bond and Mary Perleth. Mr. Perleth was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force, in which he was awarded four Air Medals and twice received the Distinguished Flying Cross. Mr. Perleth served as the past chief of merchandising at the Defense Commissary Agency's Southwest Region.
Surviving are his special companion and friend, Kum Cha Browning; and his son, James Bond Perleth II.
