Columbia: John Allison Harvey, 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, May, 14, 2012, at Agape Hospice House. John was born on April 15, 1917 in Fairchance, PA, a son of the late John and Susan Harvey.
Mr. Harvey is survived by one son, Dr. John D. Harvey and wife, Anita, of Columbia, SC; sister-in-law, Belva Pearce and husband, John; nephew, Kevin Pearce; niece, Denise Cooper, all of Johnstown, PA. John was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Dyer Harvey; and sisters, Ethel, Annie, Mary, and Edna.
A memorial service will be held 2 o’clock, Wednesday, May 23rd in the Library at Agape Senior Harbison, 990 Columbia Avenue, Irmo, SC. Entombment will be in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona, PA on May 31st. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
