John was beloved by everyone that met him. He loved playing his bass and guitars, along with jamming with his friends. He loved football games, his favorite team being the Washington Redskins, and gatherings with family and friends always brought him joy. His family was his world.
John is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Jayme Conner Melton and children, Tucker, Riley, and Carson; sister, Jill Melton Howard (Chip), sister Angela Melton Rawl (Tripp), Aunt Dr. Susan Watson and Uncle, Phil Watson (Sabrina); nieces, Laken Smith, Brennen Smith, Chelsea Melton; nephew, Colton Howard; great-nephews, Vann Culley and Talon Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Bill” William Melton Sr. and Linda Waston Melton.
In John fashion, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
