Joseph Keith Haltiwanger

Joseph Keith Haltiwanger, 68, of Columbia, SC passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. He was born on May 22, 1955 in Columbia, SC and was the son of the late Joseph Johnson Haltiwanger, Jr. and the late Betty McMillan Haltiwanger.

Keith was self-employed most of his life. Keith earned a bachelor's degree in public relations and a master's degree is Healthcare Administration. He was the president/owner of National Pack & Ship. He was also the President/Owner of Medquest and Dreamscape Productions. He briefly worked as Hospital Administrator of Georgetown Memorial Hospital. He also earned his license as Massage Therapist and was trained in Sports Medicine and Deep Tissue Techniques. Keith enjoyed outdoor activities, reading, and going to St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Keith is survived by his brother, David Haltiwanger of Cayce, SC, and sister, Greta (William) Kendrick of Bluffton, SC. He is also survived by aunts, several cousins, and his Service Dog, Lizzie, who was with him when he passed.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph J. Haltiwanger, Jr. and Betty McMillan Haltiwanger.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Elmwood Cemetery Chapel, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201, with interment at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the agency of choice.
