Mr. Sweginnis died Tuesday, March 25th, 2025. Born in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late Joseph Robert Sweginnis I and Irene Fitzpatrick Sweginnis. He worked as a computer tech for Quest Diagnostics. Joe was a nutritionist and was a certified yoga instructor.
Surviving are his twin sister, Vicki Sweginnis; two nieces, Gina Leach (David) and Kim Cranford; brother-in-law, David Cranford; great niece, Addison; two great nephews, Marvin Wilson, Jr. (Sydney) and Cameron Orion Robinson; and one great, great nephew, Atreus Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda Cranford.
