Julia Catherine Hopkins Douglas, 86, of Lexington, SC passed away September 14, 2025. She was born in Hartsville, SC on October 22,1938. Mrs. Douglas was the daughter of Joseph P. Hopkins and Laurine Shoemake Hopkins.
Mrs. Douglas loved taking trips, especially to Maggie Valley, NC, with her husband, Doug. You could often find her doing find-a-word puzzles, reading historic novels, or listening to her country and gospel music.
She is survived by daughter, Lynette Sharpe (Rudolph), daughter, Joy Sheppard (Warren) and son, Ken Douglas. She had 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Douglas (Doug), her parents, and several siblings.
