

Jun attended Wyandanch Memorial High School and The University of Hawaii at Hilo, where he played football. He went on to work as the Lead Stretcher-Leveler Operator, dedicating 40 years to Carolina Aluminum.
Outside of work, Jun enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery, collecting turtles, traveling, and watching movies and football. He was a loyal Washington Redskins football fan, which brought him joy and fulfillment.
Jun will be remembered for his friendliness, generosity, and warm-hearted personality. Friends and family often said he was the kindest person they knew—always willing to lend a hand or share a smile.
Jun leaves behind his sister, Miyuki Johnson; nieces, Kiaira Black, Kerri Black, and Achara Kimble; nephew, Andre Black Jr.; and great-nephew, Carter Black. His significant other Jackie Watlington, stepdaughter Kameka Trotten, Mercedes Florence, Step Son Damieon Jefferies; grandson Ayden McCullough, and his best friend PeeWee Lettley.
Jun is also survived by cousins Wayne, Caroline, and Ricky Hill of New York; Kaisun and Nasir Gains of New Jersey; Kareema and Rashida of New Jersey and plenty of cousins in Japan.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers, doctors and nurses of Carilion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia, for their compassionate care and support.
