Kathy Watts Anderson

Kathy Watts Anderson, of Columbia, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 60. A celebration of life service and her 61st birthday will be held January 18th, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Suite Sixty, 9221 Two Notch Road Columbia, SC.

Born in 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama, Kathy was the daughter of Leroy and Lois Watts. She was the epitome of a hard worker. Often working multiple jobs to provide for her son. She worked for SCE&G, Pepsi, Quincy's, DJJ, and many other places. She also bartended at The Sandlapper and Metropolis. In 2009, she started her own business, Cascade Pools, and later merged her company to work alongside her friend with A Splash Above Pools. She was a true and tireless friend to so many. She was sensitive to the needs of others, generous in giving with a deep, loving spirit that will live forever in the lives of her family and friends. She also was a very loyal Gamecock fan

She is survived by her wife, Laura Doyle of Columbia, SC; her son, Tim Watts (Krystal) of Lexington, SC; her mother, Lois Watts of Liberty, TX; her brother, Ken Watts of Elkmont, AL; and her 3 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Watts; her brother, John Watts; and 2 grandchildren.
