

Kelsey Christine Harris, 23, of Louisville, KY, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Born in Austin, Texas, she was the daughter of Kevin Harris and Donna Russell Harris Holsclaw. Kelsey graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, Class of 2007, currently attended the University of South Carolina as an economics major, and worked at Harper’s Restaurant.
The family thanks her friends for their celebration of Kelsey’s life and heartfelt expressions of sympathy. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Donna and Wayne Holsclaw of Louisville, KY; father, Kevin Harris of Charleston, SC; brother, Austin Harris of Mount Pleasant SC; maternal grandmother, Cecile Russell of Austin, TX; maternal grandfather, Raymond Russell of Las Vegas, NV; paternal grandmother, Joyce Coopy of Lake Whales, FL. A memorial service will be held 1 o’clock, Monday, January 23, 2012, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC. A reception for family and friends will follow at Harper’s Restaurant from 2:30 until 4:30 o’clock. Family and friends in Louisville are invited to join her family at a special service, 10 o’clock, Friday morning, January 27th at the Sacred Heart Academy Chapel, 3177 Lexington Road, Louisville. There will also be a gathering to remember Kelsey from 5 until 6 o’clock, Sunday evening, January 22nd in the school chapel
