COLUMBIA – The Lord gained another new angel with the untimely passing of Kenny Holiday on July 1, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 12, 1953 and moved to Columbia in the 1970’s. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend who will be sadly missed. Kenny was the son of the late Jack and Betty Holiday of Columbia, SC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Holiday and by his sister, Karen Holiday Milik. Kenny is survived by his nephew, Bobby Milik of Myrtle Beach; niece, Kathy Bishop (Gary) and great-niece, Kayla, both of Elgin; his extended family, Helen Ann Nagy, Gary, Donna, Jennifer and Kenny Barnhard, all of Lexington, and beloved pets, Scooter, Monkey and Squawks.
A Going Home Celebration for Kenny is being planned for a later date. Elmwood Funeral Home and Cremation is assisting the family with arrangements.
