Libby Ella Shealy

IRMO – Graveside service for Libby E. Shealy, 80, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Union United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Irmo/St.Andrews Chapel.

Mrs. Shealy was born May 8, 1933 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Dowd. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church. Mrs. Shealy enjoyed collecting hummingbird figurines and she loved her family.

Mrs. Shealy is survived by her husband, Smily O. Shealy of Irmo; daughter, Nancy Bowers of Irmo; grandson, David Bowers of Irmo; sisters, Judy Peck, Agnes Hood and Barbara Nesbitt.

Mrs. Shealy was predeceased by her brother, David Dowd and her parents.
