Linda LaRosa, born July 5, 1949, peacefully passed away on April 5, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She lived in Bristol, Pennsylvania attending St. Mark School and Bishop Conwell High School. She attended University of South Carolina graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts. After graduation, she began working for the South Carolina Dept. of Social Services. Her career lasted 30 years spanning social work and ending as a chief hearings officer.
She is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Klaus of Yardley, PA, Rita Stem Stow of Ohio, and Marilyn LaRosa of Bristol, PA, and brother, Frank LaRosa of Bristol, PA. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews and her dog, Lily.
Linda loved any game but especially playing Shanghai with family and friends. She also loved traveling both to the beach and to Cherokee N.C. Her favorite pastime was watching and attending University of South Carolina women’s basketball games. She loved Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks. She will be missed by her many friends and family for her great sense of humor and loving generosity.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a date to be determined.
