Lindon Stanley Pilot, 78, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born on May 2, 1948 to the late Jettie Blanch Pilot and Fayette Pilot. He was married to Gloria Rebecca Mills Pilot for 47 years and they had a lovely marriage.
Lindon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to many. He was a welder, but he had many traits. He was a real jokester and always knew when to give good advice. His family will always remember what he always told us. He always said the main thing is don’t get excited. He will be dearly missed by his family and his friends. We will always remember the good memories that he would tell us that he shared with his nephew, Jim Allen, about the trips they took to the mountains. We will remember the memories he told us about his childhood and we will always love him.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Rebecca Mills Pilot; daughter, Hope Pilot; son, Andrew Pilot (Tori); granddaughters, Rebecca McGee Serena Pilot and Georgia Pilot; and grandson, Rider Poston.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Katie Pilot; 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Lexington Memorial Cemetery, 1772-1782 W Main St, Lexington, SC 29072.
