Lora H Duke

WHITE ROCK – Funeral services for Lora Hart Keeler Duke, 98, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m.to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service and after the service in the Mausoleum Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 788, Irmo, SC 29063.

Mrs. Duke was born April 20, 1913 in Travelers Rest, SC and passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. She was a daughter of the late William Hart and Janie Stewart Hart. Mrs. Duke was a founding member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Duke is survived by one brother, Houston Hart of Taylors, SC; step son, Michael (Terry) Duke of Greenville, SC; step daughter, Gwendolyn Duke (Richard) Heusel of Pawleys Island, SC and step daughter, Sharon Duke (Dick) Rockwood of Marshfield, MA; seventeen grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands, Clarence Keeler and Arch Duke and also ten siblings. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
