Mrs. Carnes, formerly of Hartsville, SC, died Monday, February 13, 2012. Born in Humboldt, TN on August 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William McCaw and Esther Scholes McCaw.
Survivors include her son, Vic (Marylindley) Carnes of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Denise Carnes of Gaston, SC; granddaughters, Nicole Fortner, of Gaston, SC and Daphne Carnes of Midland, NC; six great-grandchildren; as well as brothers, Mack McCaw of TN, and Franklin Cordell McCaw of Leesville. SC.
