A memorial service for Mary Feagin Browder, 94, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Eau Claire Baptist Church.
Mrs. Browder was born October 22, 1923 in Williamsburg County, SC to the late, Henry Feagin and Metie McKinzie Feagin. She was a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and belonged to the XYZ group and was active in church as long as her health permited. Mary retired from General Electric.
Surviving are her sons, Louis Browder (Ginger) and Joe Browder (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Mary Kirkland (Steve), Ernie Goff (Vickie), Lyn Swygert (Jay), Tracey Wolfe (Joe), Dean, Terry, JoAnn and Kristin and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Brenda Cade, a special friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry B. Browder; son, Red Browder and daughter, Barbara Ann Goff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eau Claire Baptist Church, 4427 Main St. Columbia, SC 29203. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
