
IRMO – Funeral services for Maurice F. Heming, Jr., 62, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Three Rivers Baptist Church, 7452 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063 with interment in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Rev. Paul Cumbers will conduct the services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Mr. Heming was born May 26, 1950 in Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC and passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was a son of the late Maurice F. Heming, Sr. and Edna Mae Hollingshead Heming. Mr. Heming retired in 1997 as a Major Crimes Investigator with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. He served his country in the United States Army and the South Carolina Army National Guard. He was a member of Three Rivers Baptist Church from May 1983 to present.
Mr. Heming is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Annette Johnson Heming; sons, Maurice Franklin Heming “Frankie” III (Mandi) and Joshua Dylan Heming all of Irmo; sisters, Linda Heming, Geraldine Heming and Josephine Silvers all of Columbia; sister, Loretta Heming of Lexington and brother, James Heming (Monica) of Camden; in-laws, Loretta McMahon (Mack) of Blythewood and Kevin Johnson (Tammy) of Virginia; granddaughter, Peyton Heming; three nephews and one niece.
