Mike  was a friend of my grandson cody hall i lost cody last year  and i know how u feel. Mike was a good friend of cody mike was also very respectful  he  loved his little boy so much he will be missed that smile will be missed i am so sorry

I am absolutely devastated to hear this news, I have known mike almost my entire life. He was such a good soul and had an uprising spirit, even on his darkest days he always brought light and laughter to everyone he came in contact with. He was always a great friend, a loving father & took pride in being a parent. He was so proud to call malone his son . He was very loved by each and every one of his friends and family. He will be missed very very much. This really hit home for many of us. Until we meet again, may he rest in paradise .

Coincidently my nephew with the same name ( Christopher ) Michael Hanna also worked at Nephron and is the same age.

I was deeply saddened to learn last night of Michael's passing.  I work in the Educator Program at Nephron, which is where I met and knew Michael.  When we were given this sad news, it hit us all very hard, and our conversations the rest of the evening were about Michael and our memories of him.  Being moms, and several of us having children Michael's age, made this news all the more heartbreaking to hear.  We were all touched by his kind, gentle, and caring nature ... not to mention the professional way in which he supervised not only the full time employees at Nephron but also a sea of teachers in red scrubs who would start flowing in around 4:00 each day!  With grace and a gentle spirit he made each of us feel welcomed and appreciated ... each and every day.  I simply cannot say enough good things about this special young man.  He will be greatly missed by us all.

To the Hanna family ...
You are all in my thoughts and prayers now and will be in the days to come.  It was a joy and pleasure to know your son.  I pray that your memories of Michael will give you strength and comfort, even amid your grieving.

I was fortunate to work with Michael in the teacher program at Nephron Pharmaceuticals.  He was always so kind and soft spoken.  Such a mild mannered gentle soul.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

To the Hanna Family -
I worked with Michael at Nephron.  In fact he was one of the supervisors that I worked for.  He was a quiet - gentle soul.  I never heard him raise his voice - I never heard him say an unkind word about anything or anyone.  When we received the news at work last night - we were all so heartbroken we could hardly move.  We were speaking of him last week - how we teased him about walking on his toes and how he'd spin his writing pen when he was under stress.  Everyone has some cliché that Michael used.  For me personally...it was always "umm Michael where do you want me to work?"  He'd then scan the room  searching for a spot.  As he was searching I'd say "How about I go over there?"  100% of the time Michael would say with a smile, "Yeah that's a good idea Dr. Gilbert. That's a good idea"  then he'd go back to his computer. I literally cried myself to sleep last night.  And I've cried this morning.  All this to say - we all loved him.  He was the age of my daughter and I saw him as a kid  trying to find his niche in life as most 25 year olds do.  I am praying for your entire family as I am praying that Michael can now rest quietly - knowing just how much he was loved by us all.

We can all lean on Psalm 30:5  "…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
