Nick was born in Charlotte, NC and had been living in South Carolina for the past few years. He was a great fan of the Carolina Tarheels, the Baltimore Ravens, and had an abundant love for his beautiful children and his entire family. Nick loved to laugh and just wanted everyone around him to be happy. Unfortunately, Nick’s large heart was often hidden by his years battling an opioid addiction. In the months preceding his death, his family and friends witnessed a young man, striving to right wrongs, helping others, and working hard to be a good father, son, friend, and Christian. In this vein, the family asks that you share a random act of kindness to make the world a better place in his memory.
The family would like to thank the members of The Shepherd's Disciples Inc. and Gethsemane Baptist Church of Lexington for the love, support, and guidance that they gave to Nick and for their part in turning his life around. It brings his family comfort knowing that Nick died unafraid because he knew that his life was in God’s hands.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Ebonie; his children, Karlie and Kayden; his step-daughter, Kylie; his parents, Steve and Janet Wright; his brother, Justin Wright; his grandmother, Susan (Sue-Sue) Wright, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 300 Alliance Road, Lexington, SC 29073. The service will be officiated by Pastor Stephen Williamson.
