Patricia Ann Blackmon, 64, of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, died Tuesday, March 22, 2012. Born December 19, 1947, Patricia grew up on Cape Cod. In 1989 she moved to Pelion, South Carolina where she managed Kitty’s Hallmark for twenty years.
Patricia leaves behind two daughters, Kim Blackmon and Kristin Platt- Wright (Russell); grandchildren, Trista and Michael Hensley, Dylan Platt, Rachel Wright; brothers, John (Brenda) Queenan, Jay (Michele) Queenan; niece, Jessica Ryan; nephew, Nicholas Queenan; and great-niece, Adrianna Ryan. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Blackmon.
Patricia was an amazing woman, beloved mother and grandmother, leaving behind many friends and loved ones. She will be greatly missed. A private service will be held at a later date. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.
