Loving wife and mother, Pat, was welcomed into her heavenly home on August 22, 2024. Pat was born in Brunswick, GA on December 7, 1941. She grew up in Hampton, SC, where she came to know the Lord at an early age. She graduated from Wade Hampton High School in 1960. She attended MUSC School of Nursing, graduating in 1963 as a Registered Nurse. She went on to serve 41 years in the profession, retiring in 2004.
She was a faithful member and servant of Colonial Heights/New Heights Church. Pat was truly a Child of God. If you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, she would have encouraged you to do so.
Pat is survived by her husband of 44 years, William (Jim) James Veasey of the home; two sons, William A. James of Charleston, SC and Patrick L. James (Wendi) of Merritt Island, FL. Pat is also survived by grandchildren, David James of Columbia, SC, Timothy Carlile, Michael Carlile, Summer Carlile, and Ashton Carlile of Merritt Island, Fl.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Heights Church on August 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the afternoon with a visitation at 12:00 PM.
