Richard "Rick" V. Goodwin Jr.

He served many years as an industrial electrician with Gregory Electric Company. He was an avid nature lover and spent many days with friends hunting and fishing. For many years he devoted his talent and vision to building drag cars, bonding with friends. He attended Denny Terrace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura (David) Harriott of Aiken; grandchildren, Victoria Nelson (Cory Ryan) of Aiken, Charles Nelson (Ashley Wilson) of Aiken, R.K. “Oliver” (Patrick Smith) Adams of North Augusta, and Jack Adams of North Augusta; great-grandchild, Laken Light of Aiken; brothers, Jerry Goodwin of Pelion and Bobby (Linda) Goodwin of Leesville; six nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews; significant other, Elizabeth Scearce of Columbia; and life-long friends, Jeff Adcock (Columbia), Herbert (Debbie) Evans (Blythewood), and R. Todd Adams (North Augusta).

He was predeceased by his wife, Rachel Goodwin; daughter, Audra Goodwin; father, Richard V. Goodwin Sr.; mother, Margaret Hunt Goodwin Daniels; sister, Donna (Wayne) Cribb; and life-long friend, Bruce Hudson.

Family will hold a private service at a later date. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
