Robert Conant

He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Zac) Brazell and their daughters, Hannah, Harper and Abigail; sister, Susan (Greg) Powers; brother, Richard Conant; a half- sister, Jennifer Powers; and two half-brothers, Edward Conant and Bill Powers. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Conant; parents, Bonnie Powers and Robert Conant; step-parents, Deanna Conant and Craig Power; sister, Debbie Conant; nephews, Blake Conant and Derrick Powers.

Robert served in the United States Marine Corps with honors. After his time in the military, he learned a masterful trade by refinishing and restoring furniture and antiques in a successful business he owned for many years.

Robert was the kind of person who showed charm and won you over with his outgoing personality. He would talk to whomever he came in contact with. He was the kind of person you would remember well after he left your path. He loved his family and his grandchildren very much. He will be greatly missed by so many.

A memorial service will be held for Robert on Monday, November, 1, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
