On Monday, December 19, 2022, Roger Alan Hatch, a beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away. He was 59 years old. Roger was born to the late Alan T. Hatch and Jacqueline T. Hatch on December 18, 1963.
He is survived by his mother; sister, Karen (Jeff) Nates; brother, Craig (Janet) Hatch; sister, Laura (J.R.) Dill; nieces, Brook (Byron) McCraw and Hannah Nates; nephews, Stuart (Kayla) Nates, Connor (Hannah) Dill, Brian Hatch and Hart Dill along with two great nieces, Anniston McCraw and Amelia Nates.
Roger graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Finance and was employed as an accountant. Roger had a strong Christian faith and attended a number of churches in his community. He was an active gardener and often worked in his family’s gardens. He was a bonsai enthusiast and fish aquarist. He enjoyed riding his bike and photography.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Ashland United Methodist Church.
