LUGOFF - Ronald Lee Woolf, 65, passed away on June 3, 2021 after fighting a short battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, June 7, 2021 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Ronnie was born December 11, 1955 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Elden Leslie and Mary Ellen Dilts Woolf. Early on, he found his passion was rebuilding and tinkering with cars. Ronnie was one of ten children; seven were boys. He spent his spare time with his brothers and dad around a motor. Carrying this love into adulthood, he enjoyed going to car shows with his 1995 Mustang and winning several awards at truck shows. Most importantly, Ronnie was a dedicated family man and one of his proudest moments was when he became a Pop-Pop. While living in Carlisle, PA he was employed by John's Mobile and in November relocated to Columbia to work for Thermal Technologies.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Leslie "Hendrickson" Woolf.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Susan Woolf; five children, Sheila Keyes, Ronnie Woolf, Jr., Toni Allen, Kathi Keller, Dale Woolf; thirteen grandchildren, Cory, Stevie, Hunter, Ravyn, Hailee, James, Zayne, Kensley, Parker, Paisyn, Oaklee, Tyler, Alyssa; nine siblings, Elden L. Woolf, Jr., David R. Woolf, Debra A. Lentz, Linda M. Durgerian, Harold R. Woolf, Charles E. Woolf, Earl L. Woolf, Wayne D. Woolf and Cindy L. Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronnie's honor to the American Cancer Society.

Ronnie So many things can be said about a man like you. But I’m not sure everyone would wanna hear it. You have always been one of my favorite coworkers. I’ll never forget how you would come back from a trip and tell me how many miles you drives how fast you did it compared to someone else and how many miles till your next service. I’ll never forget busting your chops and telling you how your truck needed this or you broke that or your clutch needed adjusted just to work you up. I’ll miss you looking over my shoulder and asking a million questions about what I was doing and how it was always a drivers fault cause they weren’t real truck drivers. Or I would be in the middle of engine rebuild and you would demand I stop to service your truck. Not only are you a great guy but you’re an awesome father. You would always talk about your family and always help your kids out wherever you could. Your a guy I would strive to be like myself. I just wish I had your energy. After a long tow you would always come back and ask for more. I would tell ya to go home and get some rest. You always said. you know me buddy. When you called me to say goodbye it was hard to process it all. But yet you still seemed to be in good spirits. So yea. I know you buddy. You didn’t want people to feel bad for ya. I feel bad for how it ended but you will never be forgotten. Spirits like yours don’t disappear. They are remembered!!! Love ya man. Yea Buddy. Speedy
