Mike was the oldest son of Louise Rogers Cobia and the late Alva Eugene Cobia. He was a member of the US Army from 1972-1977.
Surviving is his mother, Louise; his brother, Al and sister, Frances (Danny) Cobia Roberts. Mike has three nieces, three nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Letha Cobia Dwiggins and brother, Richard Cobia.
A drop-in with Mike's family will be October 8, 2022 from 12:00 - 2:30 pm at Gantt Street Baptist Church Fellowship Building, 2121 Gantt Street, Cayce, SC 29033.
