COLUMBIA – Service for Scott Brian Amick, 46, will be held Monday, September 30, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held after the service. Mr. Amick died Saturday, September 21, 2019 of a heart attack. He was the son of the late Mary Charles Miles and the late Vernon E. “Gene” Amick, and the brother of the late Gina C. Amick who passed away September 20, 2019.
Scott worked at Publix on Hard Scrabble Road and loved his job and the people he worked with. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his brother, Wade A. Amick of Chapin; step-mother, Alicia R. Amick of Chapin; step-father, William D. “Bill” Miles and step-mother, Kathleen M. Glenn of Columbia; step-brothers, William D. Miles, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas S. Miles of Lexington and Andrew T. Miles of West Palm Beach, FL; cousins, Pamela J. Nates, Jennifer N. Dalenburg, David C. Nates and Timothy A. Nates; best friend, Abhi Trivedi of Los Angeles, CA and many other beloved friends.
