Sondra Char Shivley

Gaston: A memorial service will be held for Sondra Char Johnson Shivley, 57, of Gaston, 1 o’clock, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr., Columbia, SC, 29203, with The Rev. Mark Wendland officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Sondra Shivley Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Shivley was born in Columbia, SC, on February 4, 1954, a daughter of the late William L. Johnson and Medrith Jacobs Johnson. She will be remembered for her artistic talents, as well as for her love of drawing and music and she loved animals.

Survivors include her husband, Amos Shivley of Gaston; sons, Christopher Anderson of West Columbia, Jason Anderson of Cayce, Jonathan Shealy of Columbia; step-daughter, Bridget Shivley of Blythewood; sister, Greta (Greg) Brazzell and their children, Erika and Sabrina of Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren, Kason, Cameron, Chase.
