Thomas Woodson Henderson

A member of the Midway Independent Methodist Church, Mr. Henderson worked with the National Guard for 18 years and later Southern States Supply and Ferguson Enterprises. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Doreen D. Henderson; a daughter, Jan H. (Mark) Payne; sons, Tommy Henderson, Jimmy Henderson; granddaughters, Melody and Anna Payne; sisters, Betty Tompkins, Edna Jett and Delores Burgess. In addition to his parents, Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by brothers, Edward and David Henderson; sisters, Sue Henderson and Elizabeth Capes.

The funeral service for Mr. Henderson will be held at 11 o’clock Monday, May 28, 2012 at Midway Independent Methodist Church with The Reverend Jerry Hacker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 o’clock.
