Tricia Yvette Douglas, age 55, went to be with her heavenly father on August 15, 2024, after a long fight with triple-negative breast cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 31, 1969, to Thomas L. Owens and Emma Bobb-Semple.
Her beloved stepfather Rickford Bobb-Semple is someone she loved dearly. She enjoyed raising her children, spending time with her grandchildren, participating in work activities, and learning the cosmetology trade. She attended Columbia Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church and was an Usher. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 20 plus years as a customer service advocate. In her younger years she was a member of the Girl Scouts and Cheerleading squad.
Tricia is survived by her ex-husband, significant friend; son, Deshawn Brady; daughter, Danielle Brady; two grandchildren, Blake and Blythe Brady; brother, Tracy Douglas; and a host of cousins, siblings, friends, aunts, and parents to name a few.
She was preceded in death by her father, uncle, grandparents and her two aunts Gloria and Josephine.
Visitation will be Monday on August 19th, 6:00pm ET, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
