I knew Billy mostly through our time together in the Boy Scouts. We went to High School together but our association on scouting trips is where we spent the best times together. I remember him as a person of sterling character and a congenial disposition. He always had a good word and a friendly greeting. A good person is easy to remember.

We met Bill and Michele on our trip to Alaska in 2010. We became fast friends laughing, enjoying the sites and creating memories and we've stayed in touch ever since. Michele we were saddened to hear from you that Bill had lost his battle with cancer. He put up a good fight and is now pain free in his heavenly home waiting to see you again. Much love to you!

Billy was my uncle and a very special person. Loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family profusely. He was a hunter and a fisherman, but in the earlier years he loved his plants. Out of the African Violets and Rhododendrons that he gave me, I have one left that I will care for extra extra special now in his memory. He only had one fault, he was an obnoxious Clemson fan. I went to USC and he could not have a conversation with me without bringing up the “Chickens”. My children went and graduated from Clemson and he FINALLY lightened up on me. Your were a great man, father, and uncle and may you Rest In Peace Uncle Billy. With all my love your favorite niece Elizabeth ❣️
