Played softball with David as a member of Main Street United Methodist Church for years and won a City of Columbia Church league champions one year. David was full of enthusiasm and was a great guy. My sympathies to his family.

David we will miss you greatly at work. You are a good friend and co-worker, and very smart with your work. We had a lot of fun working with you over the years, and you always made us laugh. Psalm 23:6 tells us “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
Rest in peace my friend,
Allen Merritt

I miss you already. Oh what a wonderful brother you were. You were the back bone in the family after Mother and Daddy. You taught us so much and made us laugh when we needed to. I get comfort from knowing you are whole again and with all the angels that have gone before us. I know you are dancing on those streets of gold in heaven. I love you, until we see each other again.
