Albertine "Tina" Nicholson

Mrs. Albertine “Tina” Nicholson, 83, Columbus, Georgia, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Columbus Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, from 12:00-2:00pm, food and beverages will be provided.

Tina was born January 8, 1933 in Bamberg, Germany. She was the daughter of Adam Mueller and Josephine Uthenreuter-Mueller. Tina was an active member of the VFW and president of the local ladies auxiliary, she represented the ladies auxiliary on the state and national level from 2000-2001. Tina retired from Dolly Madison.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Nicholson; youngest son, Roger B. Nicholson; and grandson, Joshua Nicholson.

She is survived by her son, Klaus Nicholson and his wife Erika of Columbus, Georgia; granddaughter, Morgan Nicholson of Alabama; grandson, James Nicholson of Wisconsin; brother, Hans Mueller in Germany; sisters, Agnes May of Arizona, Eva Flores of Texas; seven great grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.
