Alice Lenora Moulton Suggs

Alice “Biddie” Moulton Suggs, 90, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at her home. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, with Pastor Willie Martin officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA.

Mrs. Suggs, daughter of the late Mae Crapps and Cas E. Moulton, was born May 29, 1925 in Canton, MS. She retired from Bibb Manufacturing after 20 years of service. Mrs. Suggs was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandson, gardening and going to see the Columbus Cottonmouths Hockey team.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Suggs is preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Foster, Mable Gougler, Helen Stringfellow and Hattie Ethridge; and granddaughter Erika Suggs. She is survived by her son Rickey Suggs of Columbus, GA; granddaughters Fonda Hergott (Orrin) of Hamilton, GA and Cassie Suggs of Phenix City, AL; great grandson Nixon Hergott; sisters Dot Thomas and Elsie Weaver; and a brother Buddy Moulton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, 952 54th Street Columbus, GA 31904 or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, www.cff.org, in honor of her grandson, Nixon Hergott.
