Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus. Visitation will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Knight was born May 31, 1921 in Pike County, Alabama to the late Joseph J. Redmon and Anna Hambric Redmon. She was the last surviving child of eight children. Mrs. Knight was also preceded in death by her husband’s Henry D. Holder, Jr. and Myron Knight, one daughter, Jo Ann Holder. Mrs. Knight had lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 30 years and returned to Columbus nine years ago. She was a member of Rose Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughter, Mae Holder Craft and her husband Jerry of Columbus, sons, Ralph David Holder of Georgia, Larry P. Holder and his wife Betsy of Colorado and Teddy R. Holder and his wife Debbie of Georgia, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Condolences and flowers may be offered at www.shcolumbus.com
