Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Rolling

On August 22, 1958, Bobbie married her husband Charles William Rolling Sr,. and they were married for 67 years. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Emma Francis Bodiford and William James Barefield, her husband, Charles William Rolling, Sr. her brother's, Richard Barefield and Donald Barefield, and her stepfather, Alfred Bodiford.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Charles William Rolling, Jr. her three grandchildren, John (J.T.) Thomas Rolling II, Anna O'Deal Rolling, and Samantha Joyce Rolling, her two brothers, Robert L. Barefield (Maureen), Jimmy R. Barefield (Beth), four great-grandchildren, Daylen, Darien, Alivia and Ryan, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bobbie was apart of the Jordan High School Red Jacket Family. Bobbie loved her family, friends and her neighbors who were like family to her. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmomma. Bobbie was a faithful active member of Evangel Temple Church, including their Ladies Fellowship, and Versatile Circle.

A Visitation for friends and family will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the St.Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM in Fisher Chapel at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Friday, March 20, 2026 with a burial following in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907.
