Bernice Warren Johnson, 91, of Columbus, Georgia died on July 13, 2018, at Kindred Hospice.

Mrs. Johnson was born November 20, 1926, in Weston, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Purvey Lee Warren. She was a homemaker and a member of Berean Covenant Church.

She is survived by her husband, James, her son, Michael Johnson (Judith) of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Elaine Johnson of Columbus, GA and Joyce Gibson of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Curry, three grandchildren, Erika, Ryan and Tyler Curry, and two brothers Grover Lee Warren and Ernest Wayne Warren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Pastor J. W. Norman of Berean Covenant Church and Pastor Tim Jones of Britt David Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery.
