Betty Creamer Paulk, a beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister and friend, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on August 15, 1951, in Phenix City, Alabama to Thomas and Mildred Rodgers.
Betty was a proud graduate of the class of 1969 from Hardaway High School in Columbus, Georgia. She pursued her passion for nursing and graduated with a nursing degree from Columbus College. Betty dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving as a nurse at the Medical Center and the Doctor's Hospital, maintaining her nursing license current until her passing.
Betty is survived by her spouse, Tim Paulk; her daughter, Julie Creamer Jackson; her mother, Mildred C. Rodgers; her brother, Larry G. Rodgers, and his wife, Nancy; her grandson, James S. Jackson; her granddaughter, Madison M. Jackson; her niece, Elizabeth Coriano; her nephew, David Rodgers; and her great nephew, Tripp Tidd.
She was predeceased by her father, Thomas L. Rodgers, and her spouse, Stephen J. Creamer.
Betty had a love for reading, she was an avid Braves fan, and enjoyed watching mystery and detective shows on TV. Her community was important to her, and she was an active member of Epworth Church GMC in Phenix City, Alabama.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Fisher Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
