Beverly Renee Bentley Miller, a strong, vibrant, independent, carefree and very loving wife, mother and Tootsie gained her angel wings on Monday, May 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 2, 1962 to Velma and Ralph Bentley in Fort Benning, Georgia. At a very young age she moved with her parents back to her father’s hometown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Beverly would move back to Juniper, Georgia as a teenager graduating from Tri-County High School. Beverly married Robert Miller, her soulmate, and together they raised two very strong and loving daughters, Tasha and Jenna. She and Robert worked together at the Midland Foxhounds at Oakland Farm for the Lampton and Hardaway families in Midland, Georgia. Beverly worked with the horses, training, fox hunting and shooting for many years. She later took on the role as assistant and caregiver to Mr. Benjamin Hardaway until his death in 2017.
Beverly had a passion for the great outdoors. She loved camping, hiking, 4wheel driving in the Jeep, rafting, and adventuring with family and friends. Vacationing with Robert out west was one of her greatest joys. She was always seeking the next great adventure. When she became Tootsie to her grandsons, she and Robert taught them the fundamental skills of outdoorsmanship. Her grandsons were her universe, and she loved them, all four dearly.
Beverly loved all animals, after retiring from the Hardaway farm in Midland, Georgia. She found her passion in raising Doberman puppies for others to enjoy and for shows at AKC and UKC shows. Xena, Thunder, and Sassy were her beloved dogs.
She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her husband, Robert Miller; her daughters Tasha Miller Figueroa (Miguel) and Jenna Lee Fanning (Alex); her very adored grandsons: Peyton and Ryder Morrison and Landon Hamby and Truett Fanning; her chosen sisters: Rama Weaver, Shawnda Lowe and Stephanie Saveskie; her sister-in-law and caregiver Donna Scarpachi; countless other family members and friends.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Ralph Bentley and her sister, Tina Bentley.
Beverly’s family and friends will gather in the Mill room of Striffler Hamby Mortuary on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 3:00pm-5:00pm to share fond memories and reminisce on all of Bev’s adventures. 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus Georgia 31907.
