Billie "Mos" Reynolds Henderson

Billie R. Henderson, 93, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House after a short illness surrounded by her family. She was born February 14, 1922 in Baxley, GA to her late parents George and Gussie Reynolds.

Mrs. Henderson was retired from Muscogee County School District. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and member of the Georgia Power Ambassadors. Her passion was her family. She loved cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for visitation Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Wildwood Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 21, 2015 1:00 pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, , followed by a Committal Service at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend David Howle officiating. The family invites family and friends to join them for A Celebration of Mrs. Henderson’s Life in The Mill Room following the interment.

Along with her parents Mrs. Henderson is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Olin C Henderson of Columbus, GA. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Lee of Columbus, GA; son Kevin (Susan) Henderson of Midland, GA; special brother in-law, Donnie (Lyn)Henderson; grandchildren Christie (Andy) Rudd, Jennifer Henderson, Nick (Lesley) Henderson, Jamie Henderson, Jodi (Jeff) Riley, and Sandi (Stephen) Mathis; twelve great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews other family members, and many friends.
