Billy Calhoun, age 85, of Columbus, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Born August 2, 1938 in Box Springs, GA, he was the son of the late J.T. and Etta Mae (Burleson) Calhoun.

Billy loved fishing, hunting and going camping.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann (Burkes) Calhoun; his children, Rodney (Christina) Calhoun, Rhonda (Terry) Harmon, Richard (Margaret) Calhoun and Regina Earles; his 7 grandchildren and his 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his first wife, Kate Calhoun and his granddaughter, Sarah Edwards.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 3:00PM. Grandson Tyler Calhoun will be officiating the service. Family will visit with friends at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday afternoon from 1:00PM to 2:45PM.
