Billy V Eargle

Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery on Thursday, December 2, 2010, 1 p.m. with Chaplain Gene Cook officiating. Mr. Eargle, son of the late Paul Dewey Eargle and Mimie Lee Fletcher Eargle, was born March 1, 1935 in Arab, AL. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Portland, OR. and a Baptist by faith. Mr. Eargle was a draft designer and had taught engineering technology at Meadows College, Columbus from 1981-1983. He later worked for Pierce Electric Co. from 1983-1986, and then ended his working career at C. Robert Beals and Associates, Inc of Columbus where he faithfully served from 1986-1993. Mr. Eargle was preceded in death by a brother, Jess Eargle. He is survived by one brother, Don Eargle and his wife Holly of Portland, OR; a sister-in-law, Ethel Eargle of Henagar, AL; special friend, Sharon Poole of Smiths Station, AL; nieces; other relatives and friends.
