Boots Wynn Woodruff

She was born on December 9, 1924 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Mary Borger Wynn and William Wynn. Mrs. Boots was married to the late Laurence A. Woodruff, she was a homemaker. She was an avid reader and reading her Bible with devotionals daily. Mrs. Boots enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching the Andy Griffith Show, and sharing in card ministry with family and friends. While she was able, she attended Schomburg Road Baptist Church for Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife and mother who treasured having her children close. Mrs. Boots will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves her son, Bill Woodruff and daughter, Margie Woodruff Goodman both of Columbus, Georgia; her cousins, Brent Borger of Augusta, Georgia and Jane Edstrom of Cuba, New York; numerous friends to cherish her loving memory.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Georgia with Pastor Jimbo Albritton officiating. Family will visit with friends on Friday evening at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
